PROCESS in APPLYING

申請執照考試流程(以Maryland state BON為主，其他各州可能有些微差異)
原文省略請看第一、三篇連結
整理:

首先，跟MBON 索取application packet 電話 410-585-1929 (Baltimore,MD)

接著，填好表格跟BON申請，(好像有繳費)
填好裡面CGFNS的表格，寄出並繳費，
同時將你的官方實習證明(成績單需含時數吧我猜)
還有英文執照寄到CGFNS，(以上兩項都要由官方機構寄出，不是自己寄)
審核通過就會自動通知BON

再來是口語測驗，有幾種考試你可以選
ILA OPI, 美國護士口語測驗(需求量大到可以自己開一個測驗，囂張!)
TSE, 美國口說測驗(Test of Spoken English，台灣沒有考)
TOEFL iBT, 新制托福(搞到我很累的那個)
or the IELTS. 2005年十月一日以後考的雅思
(原先的歐洲體系語言能力考試，現在越來越多美國機構也接受)

口說成績門檻如下:
A score of 50 is passing on the TSE.
A score of 3 is passing on the ILA OPI.
A score of 26 is passing on the TOEFL iBT.
The Board accepts the IELTS if administered on October 01, 2005, or later.
A score of 7 on speaking, 6 on all other modules, and 6.5 overall is passing on the IELTS

以上通通辦妥以後才可以申請NCLEX (可以線上申請)
然後會收到Authorization To Test letter (ATT)，才可以考執照。

NCLEX (bulletin_08 下載)

從申請開始到完成所有手續到考NCLEX要在一年內完成，
NCLEX考爛了要在45天內申請再考(re-test)
否則都要重新繳費再申請，
如果是我就先去考托福再去申請:P 這樣又可以多幾個月
(反正沒講托福多久時間內有效，我想申請前一年內的成績應該也是合理可以接受的範圍吧?要再問就是了)
而且托福過了後面速度就快了通常而言。

以下是附註說明 (也就是你的申請可以多久時間內有效)
You must file an application with the Maryland Board of Nursing before the Board can receive supporting documents. You should request the supporting documents from CGFNS and the oral English test at the same time that you file your Maryland application, because any application that is inactive and not completed within ONE (1) YEAR will be destroyed and a new application must be filed and another fee paid. Your eligibility to take the RN or PN test will be determined by the Board as soon as all information required has been received from you, from CGFNS, and from TSE/TOEFL iBT, ILA OPI, or IELTS. The Board will then evaluate your complete application and determine whether you are eligible for either the RN or PN test. After the Board’s evaluation, register for the appropriate examination with the tester by Internet (www.pearsonvue.com/nclex), by phone, or by mail. You will then receive the Authorization To Test (“ATT”) by email or by letter, and will be able to make an appointment to test with the tester.

**INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS SHOULD WAIT UNTIL THEIR APPLICATION IS COMPLETE AND APPROVED BEFORE REGISTERING FOR THE NCLEX.
